Ch. Rahmat Ali Memorial Trust (CRAMT) is a well-established charitable organization that has been in operation for a long time in Township, Lahore. It was established in 1976 under the Trust Act of 1882. The Trust’s main aim is to better the lives of the people in the community that are neglected and marginalized through the provision of health care services that are affordable, and the supply of quality school education and religious teachings. The whole process is done under the community welfare and social responsibility areas.

The Trust was established in the honored memory of Late Chaudhry Rahmat Ali, a distinguished hero of the Pakistan Movement and the visionary who coined the name “Pakistan.” CRAMT was founded by the late Prof. Dr. S. M. K. Wasti, along with a group of committed social entrepreneurs who shared a vision of service and nation-building.

Prof. Dr. Wasti, a highly respected pediatrician, is fondly remembered as the “Father of Pediatrics” in Pakistan for his lifelong dedication to the advancement of mother, child, and family healthcare. His legacy of compassion and excellence continues to guide the Trust’s mission to deliver sustainable healthcare and educational services to those most in need.
